The Lock Is the Feature
A pump without a lock opens in a changing bag. A pump with a quarter-turn lock cannot be opened by a child and does not leak in transit, which is why paediatric brands specify it even though it costs more.
The second safety detail is the dip tube: a bottle that can be pumped empty in one hand is safer than one that has to be shaken.

Wide Neck and Soft Touch
A 38 mm neck lets a thick lotion flow and lets a parent refill from a larger pack without a funnel. It also changes the bottle: the shoulder has to be wider to support the neck, which costs resin.
Soft-touch is a spray coat with a rubberised feel. It reads premium and, more practically, stops the bottle sliding out of a wet hand. It starts at 3,000 pcs.
