What Buyers Get Wrong
Assuming the Supplier Covers the Drug
We supply the container. The licence holder qualifies the product; we provide the specification and resin declarations.
CR Cap Tested on a Different Bottle
A push-and-turn cap that passes on one 38-400 bottle can fail on another. Test the assembly.
Light Protection by Label
If the claim depends on light protection, specify amber resin at mould stage, not a label.
What We Supply, and What We Do Not
We mould and supply the container: HDPE or PET bottles, child-resistant closures, induction seal liners, and the carton if needed. We do not fill, we do not hold a drug manufacturing licence, and we do not issue pharmacopoeia compliance for the finished product.
That boundary matters for pharma buyers. What we can give is a packaging specification, resin declarations, and dimensional consistency batch to batch — the bottle side of the qualification.
Child-Resistant Closures
A push-and-turn CR cap is a separate moulded part and the most expensive component on a small pharma bottle. It has to be tested with the specific bottle neck: a cap that passes on one 38-400 bottle can fail on another with a different thread depth.
We test the assembled pack, not the cap alone, and keep the specification on file for reorders so a batch two years later uses the same tolerance.
Colour and Light Protection
Amber HDPE blocks part of the UV range; opaque white blocks more but reads clinical. For light-sensitive liquids, amber is the usual compromise. If the label claim depends on light protection, specify it at the mould stage, not with a label.
Frequently Asked
Are your bottles suitable for pharmaceutical use?
We supply the container to a defined specification. The drug product's qualification, pharmacopoeia compliance and filling are the licence holder's responsibility, not ours.
Do you supply child-resistant caps?
Yes — push-and-turn CR caps, tested on the specific bottle rather than supplied loose.
Can you supply induction seal liners?
Yes, where the bottle rim has a flat land wide enough for the seal. We check the rim before quoting.
What sizes are available?
30-500 ml in HDPE and PET, with 38-400 the most common neck for pill and supplement bottles.
Applications for This Range
- Distributors stocking three to five SKUs for the same market
- Brands launching a first range at 1,000–5,000 pcs per colour
- Contract fillers who need closures fitted and tested before the line
- Private-label programmes that change colour every season
- Export orders that need packing data before the freight quote
