Mist Spray Bottles: the Orifice Decides the Mist
A mist bottle is a bottle plus a sprayer, and the sprayer's orifice decides whether the product comes out as a fine mist or a wet sputter.
Mist sprayers are sold by output and orifice. The bottle is almost incidental — which is why a 20/410 neck exists.
The free Bottle Spec Checker tests whether your neck fits the closure and whether the wall survives a pump stroke.

Orifice and Output
0.10–0.15 ml per spray is the fine mist range. A larger orifice gives a wetter spray, which suits hair and cleaning but not toner.
Fine Mist
Cosmetic toner and setting spray; 20/410 or 24/410.
Coarse Mist
Hair and household; larger orifice, more output.
Testing With the Real Liquid
A sprayer set for water sprays a viscous toner unevenly. Test with the actual formula, at the actual temperature.
Where It Fails
A sprayer that drips after use, usually a worn valve or a formula that swells the gasket.
