A bottle with a cap sounds like one product. In practice they are two moulds, two MOQs and sometimes two suppliers — which is why the price looks split.
Bottles are blow-moulded; caps are injection-moulded. Different machines, different MOQs, and a fit that has to be tested as a pair.

Why They Are Two Products
A blow-moulded bottle and an injection-moulded cap come off different machines. Ordering them together saves handling, not tooling.
