A 30 ml Thick-Wall Serum Bottle That Had to Feel Heavier Than It Was
Premium is a weight and a shadow. Both are decided by the wall and the base, not by the resin.

The Base Does the Work
A thick wall alone reads as plastic. The weight in the hand comes from a solid base: 3.5 mm at the bottom, tapering to 2.2 mm at the shoulder. That taper is also what stops the sink marks that a uniformly thick base would show.
The Dropper Had to Reach the Last Millilitre
A 30 ml bottle at 2.2 mm wall has less internal depth than a thin one. The pipette was shortened 4 mm and the tip angle changed so it reaches the base without touching it — a 15-minute mould change that avoided a "cannot get the last dose" complaint.
Why Not Glass
Glass would have been heavier and cheaper per unit at this volume, and the customer knew it. The decision was freight and breakage: 48 g of PETG ships at a quarter of the weight and arrives intact.
